Hello light people, here today to talk about briefing
Well, without light there is no photo and that is not news, but of course this means nothing to many people that think that noon, for example, has light hehehehe….
Well the fact is that we must know how to read the image, know exactly where the light comes from and what the feeling that it gives, this is the starting point for us to have the much-needed briefing.
HELLLPPPP, the client says absolutely nothing, has no reference all he needs is the picture and when it is ready you don’t get the expected result.
This happened here, my first gringo client has bad English and I just needed to do a Headshot portrait, which means a headshot, but a better 3X4, well I asked for references and didn’t get them so
I searched for some references, assembled my light map and did my essay and of course it didn’t work out, when I sent her the images she replied that it wasn’t what she wanted and that she was very disappointed, whew, thank God I had already gotten a lot of shit back in college and I apologized a thousand times, we made a super selection of references and came up with a concept, she came back, I reworked the essay, and she was very happy, came back and brought a friend who brought a friend and whew.
Lesson of life; never, ever, for nothing, do a job without a reference, the client may not know what he wants too, so I’m talking, understanding and sending the references that I think makes sense for each client.
Look at what I delivered what the client wanted.
